Finishing touches

Jewellery is an intrinsic aspect of styling an outfit based on the fact that it ties the whole look together and in my opinion, defines the look the stylist is looking to portray. This is regardless of how minimal it is (one or two rings) or how maximal it is (a huge chunky bracelet and an equally attention seeking neckalce). One trend that is on the rise now is over the top or statement jewellery, however I find that as I get older, simple jewellery is right up my alley. Simple jewellery such as a pearl necklace or chic stud earrings are characterised by versatility and class thus giving the effect of timelessness to any outfit they are paired with. This however, doesn’t mean once in a while I wouldn’t try out jewellery that do the talking due to spontaneity but simplicity has all I need for now.
